RUS is now working in Uganda. The GDP of Uganda is smaller than Kenya. The poverty index there is greater than Kenya’s, and RUS has stepped out by faith and we’re reaching out to deserving people in Uganda. RUS has diversified its scope of work from jigger eradication to helping people (more so children) with special needs. We are taking them to hospitals and helping with specialized care in their homes. We are proving a balanced diet and counseling to caregivers for better childcare. This is where Amela, the twins, Maria and Brighton in Uganda come in. To the school going children but who have lacked that opportunity, RUS is buying school uniforms and books and backpacks and sending them to school, some for the first time. John and Peter of Wakisi, Jinja and Maria and Ramadhan of Kihindi are just a few examples seen in our YouTube videos.
